I thought it would be fun to post any funny or clever personalized tags you guys have seen out on the road.

Does not necessarily have to be one you saw on a Runner.

It can be one you've seen on any car or truck, but PLEASE DO NOT make up crap!

Post a photo if you can, otherwise just type it in with make, model and where you spotted it.

I'll start here with my own tag. I'm actually still waiting on the state prisoners to stamp mine out and put it in the mail to me. Geeeeeze, 90 days for my freakin tag? Anyway, it's mine and I'll post a pic when it shows up.

Its: TOYO4X4 I can't beleive no one else in Ga had that one yet!! I'ts mine now!:cool:

Here are a few others I've seen in the last week all in Atlanta:
Black 3rd Gen Runner: 4RUNERS
Jeep Rubicon: SMELLY
05 or 06 Corvette: RENTAL

I'm interested in what you guys have seen!:D

The one on my CRX is my username: BTLFED (Bottle Fed, nitrous y0)

The one on my 510 is 5ONEOH (5 1 0)

I'm still trying to think of one for the 4Runner.
 
Just remembered one I saw on a Scion XB
SHOEBOX.

BTLFED, I know you are trying to think of a new tag idea for your 4Runner. Here's what I did to get the exact tag I wanted.

I sat down with a bottle of wine and a sheet of paper and started writing ideas. Max is 7 charecters for Georgia.

Take your list to the DMV and let them check on the spot whether or not that particular tag is available.

Here are a few ideas I came up with.

4WDRUNA
4WDRUNR
V8RUNNA
V8RUNNR
YOTA4WD
FINE4WD
GR8RUNR
MYYOTA
MYTOYO
MYBABY
MYGIRL
TOYO
MYTOY
YOTA
SEE YA
C YA

Anyway, IMO, it's worth going to the DMV to see what's available. I just asked the girl there to look in the database and tell me if that tag was avaialble.

ps. If I didn't already have KMVRETER I would get the first one.
 
My x-wife tried to get "TOASTER" for her Scion xB but it was already taken. I might try something ridiculous for my 4Runner like "OMG T4R" or "T4R LOL" haha :biggrin2:

There's a guy in my neighborhood with a black Scion xB with the plate:

I had to laugh. I also saw a Tc on the lower deck of the Bay Bridge with the plate "BORED".
 
mine now is KREGG, an old nickname...

next one will be a university of alabama personalized plate...

Toyota Prius

Recently was passed on I-70, middle of nowhere Kansas, by a Toyota Prius hybrid toolin' along at about 80 mph with "FOPEC" (Kansas plates).

Guess the guy scanning plate applications for naughty words didn't realize "OPEC" is "oil producing and exporting countries" and "F" is, well, you all know that! :p

Was gonna snap a pic of the plate, but had to exit for fuel before I caught up. Ohhh, the irony!
