Code that is being thrown up is for a coolant sensor..
would that affect my performance? When I press down the gas pedal it has absolutely nothing, cant pass, takes forever and another forever to get up to speed. Plus its having trouble starting when its cold, it doesn't seem likes its getting the right mixture of gas and air. Could replacing the MAF sensor fix that problem? Also my VSC OFF light and my VSC TRAC lights are on and both of them are off, why did this happen when I replaced the enigne? Can it be fixed?

Absolutly that sensor will affect that. It tells the ecu the coolant temp to lean or richen the fuel mixture. I have had several cars get towed in to the shop with complaints of died while driving. Hook a scan tool up to it and watch the values while its idling. It will be at normal temp then all of a sudden it either goes -30 or on the extreme other way. Check the connector and wores going to the sensor and replace as needed. The vsc and trac come on when the check eng lite comes on so those will be gone once you fix the coolant sensor problem and clear the code
