2nd Silver LTD -another begining

It took 3 weeks to finally touch dirt. This is a copy of my 3rd gen that lasted 16 years+. This is looking upon the Mackinac Bridge over the Straits of Mackinac(Mackinaw). My lesson with the 4Runner is to buy more than I need at the time. In the 16 years that I drove my 3rd gen it met all my needs from a vehicle, cargo hauling, boat pulling, car towing...I even pulled a minivan out of ditch that was carying a family at 2am after a snowstorm.

Just picked up this 2016 Trail Edition this past Thursday. Love it. Had to remove the stock running boards. Didn't like the look of them and all they did was dirty my pant leg.

It's an ICON Stage 2, with ICON upper control arms, and 255/80/17s. SCS F5 wheels.

The 255 80s are a true 33 inch tire.

Color?

I am trying to decide on a color that I want to get my 4Runner in.

Any regrets with going with Silver? So far I think this is my 1st or 2nd choice.

My color choice was 1) magnetic grey 2) silver and 3) white. I honestly don't regret it at all and live the color

I really wanted the red, would have settled for blue, silver was my third choice. The dealer said there were none in stock anywhere in the region, and none expected to arrive in the next 90 days, and insisted they don't take orders for specific options. (So why are they called options?)

Anyway, I think the silver looks pretty good, just kind of bland and too much like every freaking other car on the road, but it's growing on me. And at least it should be a lot cooler in the desert in summer.
