I had the same rack on my FJ. Loved it because I could put almost anything up there no problem (as it was flat) and it didn't have the mesh floor of the Gobi, which is what I have now. Makes me wonder if I should have just purchased the Baja instead. Arrrrgh.....rack looks great man!

thank you! i was going back and forth between the gobi and baja. ultimately ended up going with the baja. however, the prinsu still intrigues me despite the fact that i have to drill.

Love what you have done, this is almost exactly what I have in store for mine when I get it in a few months. Any feedback on those tires? Would you go with them again if you had your pick at any tire?

I ordered mine yesterday and they said it takes 72hrs just to confirm your order, I have tried to call them for the last week and sent emails with no reply. I really like their racks, hope they call me back, Baja racks are pretty sweet too but I prefer the Gobi.

they are a pain to balance, and road force is a bit much, but it doesn't seem like that is out of the ordinary. a bit of vibration at highway speed, but i've experienced worse in other cars/tires. i haven't taken it off road yet, so i can't comment on that just yet. however, everyone that i know personally that has them swear by them. i feel that the trade off might not be as bad.
if i had to do it again, i feel like i would still go with the same tires. however, i do not have enough experience under my belt, so not sure how much that is worth.

this is what i have. yes, i have stood on it. it felt a bit weird at first, but once i got on top, it felt stable and more than capable of supporting my weight and much much more.

FRONT: bilstein 6112 set at max 2.5" setting
REAR: Wheeler's T12 spring 2.5" lift with bilstein shocks
I was going to do bilstein 5100 2.5" setting front and T13 spring rear, but the T12 looks good! now I don't know what to get.

Should've, could've, would've.. we've all been there but I bet whoever you gave them too was pretty happy to get them.. shoot I would've been super stoked for free lol..
