I was going to do bilstein 5100 2.5" setting front and T13 spring rear, but the T12 looks good! now I don't know what to get.
Are you using aftermarket UCA?

yes, i am using the SPC UCA. or light racing, or whatever they're called.

Yeah, I'm not really concerned. Better that they get some use than taking up space in a landfill somewhere.

i'm running 285/70/17. no rubbing on the front fender liner, but rubbed the mudflaps. had to use a heat gun, and manipulate them a little. no more rubbing.

thank you! and yes, white letters out! the bilsteins have been pretty good so far. "firm" but not "harsh." if that makes sense. i was afraid that it will be overly stiff at the highest setting, but that has not been my experience. the shocks do not feel overwhelmed at all with the preload. i have only put in 200 miles on them so far though. need to drive more so i can give more feedback on them. however, they are a pretty big improvement over the OEM shocks when it comes to small bump, speed bumps, potholes, small jumps (okay, not "real" jumps), less brake drive, and less rear squat when accelerating. the shock movements feel more "controlled."

once i get in more miles, i'll see if they change from firm to harsh with the 2.5" setting.

When talking about improvement over the stock shocks in terms of small bumps and potholes and so on, how would you describe that improvement?
What is your definition of improvement over stock shocks?

when going over the bumps/potholes/etc at speed, the ride feels more compliant. i don't feel like the oem shocks were jarring or inadequate in any sense, but the bilsteins feel even better than the OEM's did. since i'm on the highest lift setting, i was worried that they won't stay compliant with the added preload. i don't feel like there's no extra unnecessary shock movement of any sort. hope that helps.

[T4 Leaf]

New (to me) 2014 SR5P 4x4...as of last Thursday.... only has 24K miles...not much tread left, thinking of my first mod being TRD take-offs, with the Bridgestones...the 6 spoke version.

This is my first T4R...and thanks to the forum was able to figure out that the squishy brakes were a common feel/operation.
