How you getting along with the tires?

I can't say a bad thing about the BFG All-Terrain. They wear flat and I just rotate them front to back without crossing them and no problems. Every Truck I have had has run them since My 78 SR-5!:biggrin1:

All good!....I would say the same about the Muds as I run them on the Mule! BFG's rule.

Holy Jim Trailhead at Cleveland National Forest

Had my 4R for a couple months now and haven't been able to take it off roading anywhere due to work and family stuff. Finally got to go somewhere for a little fun and the gate was closed on the way up to Santiago Peak due to the on and off rain here in Socal. Gonna try again this weekend since the weather has been good.

Im pretty sure I’ve seen videos of people driving their 4Runners through deep water like that.

Did you stop the car instead of going deeper and that flooded the engine?

Nope she stopped all on her own. Everything in that area was sugar sand so once it got deep enough to slow me down I lost all traction. Engine was fine, no water in the intake/oil. Problem was the water level inside the vehicle made it up over the level of the front seats, and its costal florida... all brackish water.

Got round two up and running now (and she's a premium this time:bravo

Took delivery of my 2018 last Sunday. Some light mods planned, nothing too crazy. Front window tint and XPEL PPF getting done Monday. Toytec TRD Pro coil seat spacer to level front and N-FAB steps ordered.

While the kid was at ballet I used the time to air up my bike, test the running gear and make some adjustments to the saddle height and front shock’s rebound rate.

At 520 miles the Great White Swank Tank got it's first taste of dirt. I am used to manual trans and full time lockers. This thing was SO much nicer to drive off road.
