Prob not the right question for this thread, but anyone regret getting the black color? Since take more care to keep clean, hot, etc.? I found a nice black sport that I'm interested in buying.

Not really, with just a good washing it still looks good, as long as you are more than 20 feet away.
Black shows up every little scratch and dink when you are up close but stand back a few feet or if you are in another car watching it go by all you see is shiny black.

As far as heat, unless you get bright white I don't think there is too much difference between black vs red or green etc
Just tint the front windows and get a cheapo folding sun shade for the front window and its not that bad.

I am bias of course but IMO the 2002 Sport Edition is the best model and year of the 4Runner's.

Yes it is more cleaning but IMO theres no better look than all black sport edition. As color trends age, you will know all black is a classic look.

Once you go black, you never go back..hahaha

Thanks. I found a black '00 Sport with rear locker and 134,000 miles for $6,800. All service records. Hopefully it's not a scam. That's really cheap for where I'm at (SoCal). Just wanted feedback on the color before calling. THanks again!
