The first week I bought my BP, i saw your set up and set this pic as my desk top pic, as i will be doing the same setup, but with all my chrome covered in Carbon fiber. Great looking ride

The front is touch sensitive too. Those 3 lines on the top of the handle are where you touch to lock the vehicle.

I'm curious to hear how it turns out as I've been wanting to black out my door handles. You can experiment with the sensitivity by holding something in your hand while touching it, like a thin glove, paper, etc. It seems to work fine with something in the middle, so I don't see why a few coats of spray paint or plastidip would break it.

The touch pad is also located at the bottom of the door handle. So you can paint the top and still arm it by touching the bottom.
