Still one of my top fav wheels on the 4Runner are the OEM Limited's wheels and I am thinking going with a lighter gunmetal color if I ever repaint them but I think the plain 'ol silver really works with them.

....FOR POSTING THESE PICS.... When I was purchasing wheels/tires, these wheels were my Plan B. I've always wondered what they would look like on a 4Runner, and now I finally know. Those wheels are 4.5" backspacing right? They appear to stick out a little more than I thought they would.. Are you running wheel spacers?

Standard BS, I think they only have 4.5. and yes on the spacers at 1.25"

Curious whats your plan "A"

My wheels are pictured earlier in this thread... second post I think. I ended up getting Procomp 8069's.

The deciding factor for me was the backspacing. I went with the Procomps because they have 4" BS, while the Methods had 4.5" BS. I wanted some extra clearance between the tire and the upper A-arm, and I refuse to run wheel spacers. I still dig those Method wheels though.

One thing's for sure on the Methods: they're definitely unique... you don't see many people running those.

Semi-conclusion
I think after looking at all these wheels I want to find a set of Toyota 16" 5-spoke, paint them a rely nice semi-gloss black and put them on my truck

Then hopefully I can find someone that will give $60 a wheel for my aftermarket 16" alloys.

I agree Rock I like the machined look also, and in fact I just had to make a decision today between a set of machined styled/w a nice set of BFG's -vs- a set of black pro-comps. I ended up going with the black pro-comp rock-crawlers. These are the wheels I picked up All 4, brand new, still in the box. The girl said she never even had tire's mounted on as she decided to go a different route after she got them. Picked up the set for $150. No lugs or caps included (thinking about going all black), but I still think it was a pretty good deal. Can't wait to see what they look like mounted up. I'm hoping because of the 8" wide rim and 4.25" backspacing they'll sit flush or even slightly outside of the fender flares.

As far as the other machined style rims/BFG's on CL, They looked like the ones Rockdawg posted and the tires looked to be at approx 50% iirc. If anyone's interested I think the guy was asking $300 for the set and they were located in Southern Jersey in the auto parts section. EDIT: Looks like he lowered them to $275

how did i miss this thread? gosh you guys have some sick rigs! but here are mine, i have the Procomp 7089's with grabber AT2 tires, no spacers some backspacing not really sure but yeah... ive said it a million times but I sure cant wait for a lift and bigger shoes!

I thought so too, but I looked at his build thread and they have different centercaps.... so i thought they must not be the same

those are the same wheels as blktpgsr. he had them with no caps and put on some that fit off of a different wheel.
