anyone on here have one? ....im lookin at the Contour gps or the Gopro helmet 1080 hd... it would be used mostley for snowboarding

I don't have either, but a friend of mine has the Gopro. He uses it mainly when he's out dirt bike riding. He seems to like it a lot.

I just picked up the non HD GoPro helmut cam & I'm extremely happy with it. I wasn't looking for one but got a closeout deal from ****'s ("Richard's, those censors) that I couldn't pass up. It's not the best camera but the case & the accessories that go with it make it worth the price.

i say contour GPS. I have the non-GPS HD for snowboarding mounted to my goggles. with the GPS version you can stream the video you're recording on your iphone/android realtime and change settings via bluetooth.

video quality is pretty similar so it really depends on how you mount it.
