I have 16x7 Toyota rims and I was thinking of powder coating them. Called around and got a price of $60 a rim. Is that a good price and are they durable? And one last question, got any pics?
I'd probably just paint, but that's just me.
I would say yes, if it included they doing the prep. sand blasting.
but you have to remember there might get some scratches if you off road. paint is easier to touch up. but to each there own.
Same here.around my town its like 100 a wheel. but i have no idea on anything else. its all over the forum. use the search bar and im sure you'll find a billion pictures and reviews on it.
Here's a quick pic of my recently powder coated rims. I have Goodyear Duratrac's mounted on them and I think they look fantastic. I agree that anything less than $100 per wheel is a good deal. I worked a swap for some other Toyota 5 star rims that I sent to powder coat, while selling my originals... however when all was said and done, mine broke out to around $70 per rim. Best of luck!
Dumb question here... but is the center plastic piece something you can buy black or how did you get it black too?
You can have the center cap powder coated black as well.
Yeah you are right I was spacing out. My bad.
yo man did you end up deciding to powdercoat them?
