Powdercoating question

I just bought a TRD exhaust tip, and was wondering if it would bet at all possible to powder coat the overall tip black, and the TRD etching either left alone or powdercoated a different color. It is etched in, so it sits lower than the rest of the tip.

You could, but it would be a 2 step process and be tedious. You would have to powder coat the whole tip first and then bake it. Next the lettering (tedious part) would have to be taped off and then that part powder coated and baked. Doing that would tend to fill the etched part in. That chrome would have to be blasted off first. Sometimes easy and sometimes a pain, depends on the quality of the chrome. You could also just powder coat the whole thing and then hand paint the lettering with a high temp paint.
