Power Accessory Outlet Mod in console?

I'm interested in adding a Power Outlet in the center console and am getting the info together to do a mod- have read multiple posts about the various power mods done (much thanks!), but have a question I haven't found referenced on the boards...

Looking through the manual for my 4R (07 Sport Ed.), it looks like there could potentially be wiring available to the console that would power the factory entertainment system and I could use it. But it could also be, if the entertainment system is present, that perhaps the accessory outlet (next to the shifter) might be tapped inline to power both the outlet and the entertainment system? That the wiring doesn't exist unless the entertainment system is installed.

If the wiring is present, then comes the question of it being the same accessory outlet (120v) if the entertainment system is inline... The max total power draw of each component if it is divided between the 2 or separate?

Has anyone that's had their console apart confirm before I prematurely tear the console apart and go exploring?

The factory entertainment system does not tap into the cigarette lighter or any other wiring in the center console. It comes with its own harness and uses a t-wiring connector to tap into the factory audio system.

Power Accessory outlets in center console

I recently added headrest DVD players for the kiddies and while I had the center console out I added two additional 12v DC outlets, one on each side of the console. I tapped into the power for the cigarette lighter. It took an extra 15 minutes to drill the holes and run the wires. In hind sight, I think I could have done this without removing the center console by simply pulling the lighter/ashtry out and running the wires that way. I also believe that the plastic surround around the shift lever comes up without much effort allowing easy access to the underside of the console.

While I was crawling around on the floor I also added a CB radio to the driver side of the center council, ran the CB antenna through one of the rubber grommets on the fire wall to the engine compartment, added a brake controller for my car trailer and did the VSC OFF mod.

All easy mods that I should have done long ago - especially the VSC OFF mod.
