Well.... I thought installing a new aftermarket radio on my 2002 4runner would be easy..... Well it went in great and CD player sounds great, however I noticed it would NOT scan radion stations like the factory radio. After looking through the windshield, I noticed the power antenna was DOWN.... Then realized there were 2 seperate antenna plugs in the dash but the new radio only utilizes the larger one. Is the smaller one for the power antenna? And how the world am I supposed to hook it up to the new radio if there is no input for it?..... Please help ASAP....:dammit:

when i put in my deck i just put electrical tape around the other plug and left it hanging and my antenna still worked. if im not mistaken the other plug is for the rear antenna. if you really wanted to they sell 2 to 1 adapters so both of the plugs will be plugged in. somebody correct me if im wrong:thumb3:
