power antenna

I have a 92 4runner. That originally never came with a power antenna.. if I want to put a OEM antenna on there.. Probably off ebay or a junk yard..

Do you think that the wiring harness and mounts would be under there?

The mounts should be the same, but I highly doubt the wiring will be there.

the mounting bracket is definitely the same (i know because i changed mine from power to whip), but the only way to know about the wiring is to have a look.

I have a power antenna but the nylon track is shot. It's supposed to be pretty easy to replace but I can't find the track anywhere. Just a thought...

The antenna mast on my 95 4Runner is gone. The antenna motor still cranks every time I start the vehicle, so it still works. I'm trying to decide if I should get a new mast(which I've found at rockauto for about $21) or bail the electric antenna altogether and install a regular antenna.

Yo, I tried the dealer and they said they couldn't get the nylon strip. I'm going to try another dealer. Thanks for the inspiration!

thats weird, when i got mine at a dealership in calgary they had one in stock. it worked for a while but after a couple of months it started grinding like the old one did so i ditched it for a regular whip antenna.
