I am putting in a new Headunit, subs, amp, blah blah blah... well the way I have my ipod set up I have to have the FM on to play it but often when say I'm on a trail or when I am in the car wash I wanna listen to some tunes but I have to turn the radio off because I don't wanna snag the antenna, so on to my question, can I just run a toggle switch to my antenna to raise and lower it without cutting off the FM or is there some kinda relay that controls the stopping of the antenna motor, I'm afraid that if I wire up a toggle switch to it that the motor won't cut off and I'll burn it up....
