Power door lock problems...

I just bought a 2000 limited. I love the truck. It just has a few little things that are wrong with it. The problem with the power door locks is that you can not lock the doors using the switches. But you can manually push them down and use the switch to unlock them. I'm a mechanice so I am fairley familar with tools and mechanial stuff. Has anyone heard of this before or delt with it? Or know where I should start?

I have the same problem. I just bought mine today and realized it, but my fog lights also dont work.

Check to see if they work by the switch with the key in the on position or with it running. We had a post the other day where a guy couldn't get his keyless entry to work and discovered his lock switches only worked when the key was on (hence they would never work from a remote like that). He found that he had a blown fuse.
