I have some issues with my power locks unlocking and locking. Its definitely door independent. My driver side rear door no longer unlocks or locks via power. I can manually lock and unlock it with no problem. The lock itself does not feel like its sticking.
My passenger front door has started to exhibit the same symptoms but it is intermittent. At times it will lock and unlock via the alarm remote or the lock button on the driver side door. At other times it will sit in its current position and not do anything.
My driver side front door and passenger rear door work perfectly.
So my question is, could it be the door actuator or something else? The door actuator goes for a lot of money and I just want to know before I commit to anything. I'd hate to spend too much money unwisely.
Is there any way to test it?
