Power Driver's seat movement

My power drivers seat rocks back and forth a little with a braking and acceleration. Its annoying the hell out of me. Is there a DIY fix for this?

are the bolts holding the seat to the floor tight? torque spec is 27 lb/ft

I havent checked those yet, but im pretty sure the issue is with the seat's connection to the track rather than the track to the floor.

I am having the EXACT same problem with my 2001 Toyota 4Runner.

I could have posted a smart arse remark but you might have a bigger issue. Your mounting points on the floor might be cracked.

Get out of the 4runner, stick you head under the seat and have some one push and pull on the back of you seat. See where the play is coming from. If it looks like from the floor board, it might need to be rewelded to fix the problem.

Going to revive an old thread here. Does anyone else with a LTD and power seats have movement/looseness in the cushions (play is definitely at cushion to seat frame attachment, not seat frame to floor). If so, any fixes?

The driver seat in my 99 moves on the right side, seems as tho something inside broke. I saw a DIY for it but didn't understand it. It is super annoying especially offroad where it never lets you sit tight.

This has just started a couple of weeks ago and is getting worst. Did you ever find a solution?
