Power for my lighted Clinometer

So I just got my "jeep" (blah!) clinometer. it is the iron horse one that ToyotaDoodz had mounted in the area previously occupied by the useless storage compartment under the radio/temp gauge. Well, I used the double stick tape and placed it on the dash, just above the radio. My question is, where is the easiest place to hook it up to get power to it? It is just a simple (+) and (-) hook up right?

I tried Velcro and/or tape but when off road it would work loose. That's why I mounted it in a more sturdy place.

I have not connected mine to illuminate it since I don't wheel at night. There should be several places to tap power in the dash but you'll need the wiring diagram.

Hah, you edited it. :D so I edited mine. :D

It would be nice to tap the power source that's controlled by the interior dimmer switch. Anyone know where best to do that?

Tried to edit it to add the picture. So there :dammit:

Haha---Edited another one!

By the way, I got mine for $21 shipped off of Ebay.

Mine was $19.95 plus $1.50 shipping.

I was referring to you editing out the "someone else" reference and inserting my name before I could post. :D It was "someone else" the first time and after my post is had my name. LOL.

Very true, easy to reach, but it'd be on all the time. I'd like to find the circuit that's activated with the dash lights if possible.

Simple to do... just tap into the parking lamp fuse. Whenever your parking lights (or headlights) are on, it will light up with them.

Hmm....good call. Anyone have a picture of the fuse box showing which one that is?
