Power Increase V8?

Did TRD even offer the supercharger kit for the 4.7? I would try to find one for a Tundra or whichever other Toyota that has the 4.7 supercharger from TRD, and then get the UCON ECU from Underdog Racing Development and have them program it for your supercharger.
It was made for a short while, but they stopped production due to the 2UZ throwing rods even under minimal boost. They definitely aren't easy to find. They were also only for the non-vvti versions I think.

Was TRD the only company that made a 4.7L Supercharger? It just seems so weird for them to be the only ones with how many Tundras there are...

Performance chips you find online, more often than not, are a lot of smoke and mirrors.

Seriously... one of them has a slider labeled "power".. just turn it up for that crazy boost! Add a throttle body spacer while you're at it!!

I knew their were not many performance parts available. Looks like ill just be doing a air filter and exhaust for a little power. I really like to put a locker in the rear but am not really sure how much that would cost and if it would be worth doing the rear only or both front and rear.
I do want sliders and am leaning towards shockworks. Anyone have opinions on other brands? I think I'm gonna for bolt vs welded also.

Exhaust might wake it up a little. Borla is a great brand, and obviously TRD is too. that combined with a good air filter *might* get you 15 more HP, so not a lot, but a little and at least itll sound cool.
Also, a good rear locker is all you really need unless youre gonna get pretty hardcore.
Front lockers are priceless when needed, but how often will that be for you? I dont have a locker in the rear of my current rig yet, and still havent *REALLY* needed it yet. Hoping to do it this winter anyway just because its more fun drifting in the snow in 2wd, and of course when flexing enough to lose traction on the trails

White Knuckle Off Road. Awesome looking sliders and I only waited 3 weeks to have them made and shipped to NJ. Shrockworks are nice too but you're gonna be waiting about 4 months at least.

Don't buy a V8 4Runner if you're looking for more power...save that feat for the V6r's. They have power where it's needed. Wrong vehicle for a race car...nonetheless, a nice AFE dry filter, HCF Delete, and a revised exhaust setup and you'll have more smooth & responsive throttle fun. It's hard to make something great even greater...

They aint cheap tho and that price is in AUD. Makes the price of the TRD look like its bargain bin but I suppose its all relative since Australian vehicles are more expensive.

In one day I had a flow master series 40 put on, custom 2.5" cat back with resonator and HCF delete, K&N and seafomed. Oh I put some super unleaded in it too
I could feel the difference. The throttle response improved, power from 3k RPM up was much better and the idle was smoothed out. MPG has stayed the same, probably because I drive it a little more aggressively. It sounds really great, although it resonates pretty loud at 2K rpm's. I'm about to try some header tape on the flowmaster to tame the 2k drone.
