You won't be pre-wired for the power seats, but running power from the windows is easy enough. I did this in my 00 base model with some seats I found on ebay. I swapped because I had the base seats, which are terrible. The limited seats are the same as the SR5 with the adittion of power, so if you have the manual lumbar now you will not be getting a better seat.

Either way my driver's side seat is beginning to rip out, and these are just too nice to let them go....

If they don't have seat heaters then this may be a good time to add that when I change the seats out.

They won't necessarily have heat. I think they added heated seats on 2001 but not 100% sure.

okay I was all prepared to just let them go as they are up to $200 for the pair.

But the seller says they did come out of a 2002, now attempting to find out if it was a limited. He is not sure if seats have heat as vehicle is gone.

Is there an extra power plug for the heat?
(or some other visual clue at the seat?)

For example if the seat has 2 plugs then that would mean it has power and heat?

not expecting real time help-just want to be ready for the next time.:dancin:

If it is a 2001 new vehicle (and I presume a carryover to 02) and has a power seat, then it has heated seat included.

I am going to verify that with a couple or 6 owners now.



that is a huge help. I was not able to get those particular seats last night-they ballooned up to $425! for the pair but I will be ready to go when I find the next pair.

Yes I do think the 881/906 combo you have planned is a good one. I just had installed 881 /891 combo about 3 weeks ago now and am loving it more and more every day.

I encourage you to see the back end loading photos by Gerdo -it may be on Yota Tech. That was a big factor for me in getting rear coils that would barely compress under load.

Read the Sonoran Steel FAQ section of the 96-02 lifts and it has specifics about the 906 coils. I will gladly help you with any questions about that or any other topic.
