Power Outlet Inverter

I've read a couple of threads where some of you are claiming to run a PS2/other game console for the kids through a power inverter plugged into the 12V cig lighter/outlet. I want to do this with a XBox, but my outlet claims it will only provide 120 watts of power. This is not going to be sufficient as the Xbox needs something like 250 watts (not to mention the tv!)

Will I blow a fuse going higher than the claimed 120W? How are the rest of you getting around this?

You will need to install a aftermarket inverter (higher wattage).

Uh, I don't think you understand. The cover on the outlet in the vehicle (and the manual) say the max output of the outlet is 120 watts.

You will need to install a separate power/supply/circuit (fused of course) from the battery to the higher rated inverter. I understand!
