My steering rack has developed a very very slow leak in the last couple months so I have been keeping my eye on my Power Steering fluid level. Just looked through the previous owners records and found out when the power steering fluid was changed last it was replaced with Valvoline Power Steering Fluid, not ATF. Sure enough, the fluid in the reservoir is not red like ATF, its golden. If I leave this stuff in is it going to break down the seal in my steering rack? Should I change it out with ATF ASAP?
