Power steering going going GONE!

Hey, was just going for grocieries tonight, when all the sudden my steering wheel got really hard to steer when stopped.
Checked the resevoir sure enough it was empty,
topped it up, it works, but makes a high pitched squeaking sound when sitting still and turning at an idle.
Did I destroy my pump? How hard is it to put in a reman?

Before you go replacing things, what is the source of the leak?
Have you addressed it?

it is from both lines, I flushed it out with the proper ATF, I had been adding powersteering fluid, seems to work now, but is leaking,
The reason I havent done the lines is because of the cost, although I could make my own I guess
