Power steering pump? Belt?

Hey all,
Can anybody help me identify this noise? I believe it's the PS pump or it could be a belt. I dont see anything obvious. The noise comes from turning the wheel either to the left or right.. I also feel the vibration ion the wheel.

This could not have come at a worse time.

Your steering rack might be starving for fluid due to your reservoir screen being clogged up. This is a pretty common thing especially on rigs that have never gotten a power steering flush. Luckily, it's a pretty easy fix with only basic tools needed. Check out the video below to see how to do it.

Whining noise when turning is the pump starved of fluid. On my highly maintained truck, the power steering fluid was never replace, and consequently, it burnt out my original power steering pump as the fluid was so viscous. I replaced it with a low mileage OEM pump and cleaned the screen thoroughly which was clogged. No issues since then.
Also, make sure to replace the O ring on the bottom of the reservoir. Part number; 90301-11016.

I use a Magnefine inline filter on both my PS and trans lines.

Once again I think i overreacted... When i went to check the fluid level(which is what most of you assumed i already did)

It was dry. So i filled it to the proper lever the noise scary noise disappeared.

That's all well and good because as i said before a new pump would have been a inconvenience.

Here's the Rub.... if this is a sealed system... where the heck did all the fluid go? I have no NEW leaks in the driveway. I'm going to take it out and get the fluid good and hot and test it... but i am curious.. Once again thank you all for the useful replies.
