Power windows stopped working

I just parked my runner and tried to roll up my windows and the only one that worked is the drivers side. The passenger and two back windows don't go up or down, from the drivers controls or their own controls. The back window doesn't go up or down either, but does go up using the key. Anybody had this issue before? Wondering if there is a fix before I call the dealer.

Thanks.

Check the window lock button, you probably pressed it by accident.

Ha...yup.

The other cars that I had let the driver put the windows up and down even with the lock on...didn't even think about it.

Thanks.

Passenger and rear windows suddenly quit

I just put a new battery in my 05 4Rnr, and now only the driver side window works. Rear and all passenger windows are dead.

Help!!

Easy fix

I've definitely made this mistake before. I've been in cars where the window lock button disables everyone else from rolling down windows, while still giving the driver full control. This is not the case in my 2004 Limited.

Easy fix! woohoo!

None of my 4 door window are working

All windows were working fine until I changed out the front drivers side door. For the new door I swapped the window motor (which was working) and glass from the old door. At that point, from the driver door switch the front driver window didn't work but the 3 other windows did work from the driver door master switch. The plug on the harness to the driver power window was a little frayed so I swapped the harness from the old door. Now, none of the windows work from the driver master switch or each individual switch. I checked all fuses and they are all good. I tried a new master window switch on the drivers door. I tested and am getting power to the mater switch. Sun roof is still working fine. I read something about resetting the "Body ECU" by pulling the white "jumper" in the engine compartment fuse box. It looks like a fuse but it's not. They said pull it for al least 4 hours for the body ECU to reset. I pulled it for 24hrs. I'm out of ideas. I feel it almost has to be computer related given no windows are working from any switch now. As I said, before I switched the door and window motor, everything worked. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Main issue: Driver's window stuck in open

All windows were up when I pressed the unlock button on the key fob. That immediately sent the driver's window coming down (never happened before).
That, to me, seems like a short was triggered.

No action from the driver's window, even after toggling the window lock switch, holding the control in up or down for several seconds, restarting and trying again, slamming door shut with 'window up' held, or any other reset ideas I could come up with.

Recent history: Rear passenger window stopped coming down from main driver's controls. Previously, it was stuck closed ONLY from rear passenger control. Now fully inoperable.

No motor sounds when holding the switch in up or down mode.

Still need to check the fuses.

Had the door trim off about 1 month ago to remove the interior handle for painting. Maybe the first time that trim was removed??

Maybe the individual switches are going bad one by one??

Any thoughts while I continue to explore would be appreciated!
