Pre 2020 TRD Pro grill on newer 4Runner with TSS

I have a pre 2020 OEM TRD Pro grill setup and was wondering if the TSS would be in the way if I wanted to use it on a 2020?

You'll need to dremel areas out of the middle section to fit the TSS sensor. The 2020 Pro grilles have the area notched out already.

It's doable but you will need to dremel some parts of it to make it fit. Someone on here has done it to their 2020, but I cant remember who.

on top of trimming the long black nameplate plastic part a bit for the TSS sensor, you will need to do two mote things

(1) cut two or three tiny holes in the bumper wherever the GRILL's locking tabs don't lock into the bumper. i did this with a sharp haxoknife. very easy

(2) buy two brackets if you do not want to do custom cutting of the radiator grill bracket. parts 53115-35050 and PZ327-35701

2020 TRD Pro grill to 2020 Limited

Hello. I'm creeping an old thread here. I cannot seem to find any solid info on this anywhere (I know, everyone says that).

I have a 2020 Limited. Does anyone know if the 2020 TRD Pro grill would be an easy (no cutting) swap? It seems the 2020 Limited shares the same bracket components as the TRD Pro (pls see attached pictures). But surprisingly I am not finding any info out there of anyone doing a 2020 to 2020 swap from a TRD Pro grill to a Limited. Cheers.

Holy :toilet: I hope quoting your post sends a notification to your email or something since I know it's been a while since you posted that.

Does that price include installation? Even still, that's steep. I don't know what these parts would cost in Canada, but goodness.

Anyway, these are the only parts you're going to need if you're staring off with a 2020 which means you won't need to mix and match pre-2020 parts.
