predictable CEL at high speeds

Ok, I typically take the same route to school...20 mins from my house to the highway, 5 min on the highway, then another 20 min on the interstate.
Well the weird thing is, my CEL comes on at the SAME general locations EVERYTIME.....
I cruise at 60, maybe 65 if im passing (very rare, im on island time), and the CEL is ON. And it seems when I deccelerate from 60, the light turns off right when I get to 50. Same thing if I cruise at 50 for a long while, CEL comes on, then goes off when I hit 40.
Any ideas?

mine used to do that same thing with no notable performance problems. I just ignore it, I dont even know if it still does it or not...

yeah, I've had her for nearly 10 weeks now, and its very consistent with NO PERFORMANCE difference. It doesnt bother me much, its more curiosity..
