Prep for Cali Emissions Test

I could use your advice, I have a 2008 4.0 with a new used engine. I ran the Non Continuous monitors and all test PASSED but the emission test failed. Any thoughts? I would like to get the smog test done ASAP.

Thanks!

Do you have any active codes? Is the check engine light on? I can't tell by the app you are using if it's code related or just not enough drive cycles.

Good question, no codes.

I may have driven the truck 12-16 times since the replacement engine install was completed. Maybe 120 miles. Its a good thing we waited because I found out the AFE cold air intake is not CARB compliant so I put in an offer for a used system on ebay for local pick up.

Did you get an air/fuel ratio tune after your cold air intake. Could cause running rich or lean. Anyways to pass the dumb test install dummy downstream o2 sensors. Use your existing ones and wire in proper resistor and capacitor to send proper signal regardless of the root problem. Test with propane torch and multimeter to ensure proper values.
