Presurised oil for the turbo

the simplest things are always the hardest for me to comprehend for some reason.....
I was wondering about that. Do I just take it to a performance shop or something?

If they have one of these. Usually just turbo rebuilders have them, even a cheap chinese one is $6000.

I think that turbo is going to be way to big for the 5vz if you are trying to get the least amount of lag as possible. if your looking to spool around 2000 rpm than that turbo probably wont. it spools before 1000 in the diesel because the engine is twice the size pumping a lot more cfm's. The turbo we put on clownmeats is the same size as his 1.6 liter crx. Thats why it spools at 2200 with minimal load and before that in 4Lo. Im guessing you wont see boost till about 3500 maybe. but that might be what you are looking for. Look for this book its awesome and it will help you understand more about turbo's.
This is not a simple build like people may think looking at clownmeats thread. me and him have both built turboed cars and are pretty knowledgable (not bragging just telling the truth). justdont want you getting too far into the prodject and it being a little too much. But me and clownmeat are here if you need any advice.
There is a couple of shops just across the bridge to tampa fl and they specialize in turbos, they should have something, if not I will just send it somewhere. But in the mean time its still good for mock up.

I have been looking into turbos for a while. The holset keeps comming up for a popular low cost turbo. Its been being used for 4banger mustangs and ricers for a few years. Majority of my driving is done at a cruising speed. I dont need to have the horse power in the lower RPMs with the turbo spooled and 5 psi of boost. So yes upper RPM boost. In the future I want to do a compound turbo setup. The HX35W uses a t3 or t4 i thing the t4 flange. For the compound turbo the HX will become the second turbo and I will put a smaller turbo like the T3/T4 for the first turbo.
Still, ya never know till you try it.

Thats true and i mean you have the turbo already, if it doesnt work out than change the flange and try a different one.
