i really couldn't tell you since i have different packages, but i would say that i would compare your states sales tax against a neighboring state and buy in the state with lowest sales tax percentage.

compared to virginia, a neighboring state's sales tax was more than double so for me to buy in VA saved me over $1500. just food for thought...

I would suggest asking for an out the door price for the vehicle. They might try to inflate additional fees. I was quoted $31,884 + fees and ended up paying $35,000 out the door. Edmunds shows people are paying $33,229 without taxes and fees in my zip code area which is Arizona.

My suggestion is to shop around. I just agreed to the following deal, I must have talked to 25 dealers in multiple states to find the package I wanted and I still ended up getting leather instead of cloth to get the interior/exterior combo I wanted. Let me know what you guys think.

I'm a Toyota engineer, and my price is only a bit better... and your interest rate is better than what we get, so you did well.

Your price is $600 over invoice in my calculation, but the dealer advertising fees are only $406 on the 4Runner in WV, which I still have to pay, BTW. I think they are higher in Gulf States, so you are probably less than $600 over invoice.

Lets put it this way, my deal saves me $9/month over your payment based on putting $16k down and financing the rest. You did alright. Enjoy and take many pictures. I'm absolutely dying to get mine.

Funny story, since these new incentives came out on the Rav, my mom decided she would probably get one this month. She calls me tonight and says, "You need to find me a Rav for when I visit next week." I ask, scared that she stuffed her explorer into a tree, "What happened to the Explorer?!" "Your father sold it today. When you are up this weekend, we'll discuss what options I want." So, my mom, in the matter of 24 hrs, decides she wants a new car, dad sells her old one, and she'll have a shiny new Rav within 10 days. I get to wait up to another 60 for mine.

I ordered mine at the end of January. It is pretty much a spec build for Mid-A so I was hoping that my dealer would be able to snag a car that was already on the way. If I actually get the one that I ordered instead of snagging one in transit, it is a 2 to 3 month wait.

Can't wait to see yours.
