Pricing? 3rd Gen 4Runner with Ultra Low Miles

That's why I'm going to ask 10k for my 99 limited when I sell it after a fresh engine swap. It is clean and multi mode and model nice also. It has everything in recipes even the shipping invoice to. I think it will sell in my area pretty fast.

No, I read your entire post and I'm saying it's full of shit. That's maybe a $6k truck. All your post says is that there's a lot of stupid fanatics out there that think these things are actually worth something.

I challenge you to find a 4Runner with under 100k miles listed ANYWHERE for $6k. Do that, and I'll show you my new truck.

A clean 3rd gen with under 50k miles will EASILY bring $12-15k if advertised nationally, and anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't have a clue what they're talking about.

These things have damn near a cult following at this point. Whether you think it's worth that or not is completely irrelevant. They're worth what the market will bear, and that's WELL over $6k.

Hell, I wouldn't sell mine for $6k, and it has 215k miles on it! :der:

Clean 3rd gens with under 60k miles will fetch $15k+ here all day long. Don't believe me? Keep an eye on 405 motors here in Woodinville, WA. They love selling 3rd gens with low miles and they never have an issue moving them.

This paragraph says it all. ECON 101.

I live in San Francisco. A few weeks ago, I saw a barely 1000sq ft home with 2 bed 1 bath that needed TLC that fetched a million U.S. dollars. All cash. Call me crazy but to me it was no where near worth that much. But all you need is a single buyer, and thats what the market will bear. Thus the ridiculousness that is SF real estate.

Absolutely true in Vancouver and here in the Okanagan! Especially in Vancouver, as this is the only location in Canada you'll find one with no rust and one that's never been taken off pavement... the perfect blank slate...

When I bought my 98' (213K KM) it had been professionally undercoated new, it clearly had been garage kept and it was in showroom condition... problem was, it wasn't serviced regularly (something I've spent time making up for!) but I still feel I got a good deal at $7.3K.

Ridiculous for us normal folk, but you have to remember, some people have so much money that blowing $1 million cash on some piece of shit house like the one you described doesn't really hurt their bank account.

If that same buyer spent that $1M in Texas, they'd have a house like the white house, lol.

Not really the same comparison, but I've seen barely-over-driving-age highschool kids driving Tesla Model S in Denver.

Most likely for the property itself. The real estate market here is out of control too. I've got a rental duplex in an up and coming area and I get offers on it all the time. 100% of the price is on the property as anyone who would buy it would immediately demo the existing structure and rebuild.

I'm from Denver. I took a small trip to Seattle with my life. loved it, beatiful surruonding areas and loved the trees etc. but as you said, pricing is insane.

We rented a hotel in bellvue and it was something like $150 a night for an average place. The hotel was NOT that nice.

This phenomenon is the same if not worse in Vancouver! The average price for a "teardown" in the Metro Vancouver area is now $1.83M up 40% in a year!! Here in the Okanagan, the average price is $422k, not a huge change over the last couple of years. One of my workmates just came from Vancouver and he said he had 4 offers and he accepted one 10% over asking with no subjects (conditions on the sale)! Crazy!!
