I had one of these mounted on the top of my old FJ's Baja Rack. Worked great, though the paint gave up after barely 3 years

Why can I only like this once. Hopefully it actually happens. Based on group buys from TacomaWorld, I'm half skeptical. Other than that I paid hundreds, I'd be honestly happy waiting another month or two (long as I got updates from Zach) I just want it before summer camping season

Yeah, exactly, if he'd said "8-12 weeks ARO" I would still have bought in. Just frustrating to hear "about 4 weeks" and be nowhere close to that.

here's to wishful thinking!! I get the impression that because this isn't Zach's main gig, and based on his location, he probably doesn't have access to a lot of suppliers. And of those suppliers that he does have access to, he may not have top priority in their queue. Based on personal experience, that makes it really hard to estimate delivery dates. Wouldn't be the first time a fab shop quoted me 3 weeks, and delivered in 8 weeks because they got a higher priority job. Still, regular communication with the GB organizer or a designated participant would be nice.

I'm not too worried about the time. On his website it says " MINIMUM 4 WEEK LEAD TIME ON ALL NEW ORDERS ", we all know he does this as his side gig since he has a full time job. But hey! its way better than the people who ordered drabbits roof rack. People who ordered Drabbits and sent payment didn't hear or get any updates for almost over a year. Reading that thread makes me feel so much better about ordering from Zach.

I ordered my 3/4 rack 1 week before the group buy started. (so I missed out on the savings) It took about 5 weeks to arrive, and that was just my 1 order.
Now there's how many orders just from T4R, in addition to any other orders from the rest of the US/Canadian Toyota faithful, and throw in the holidays since the group buy.......
Communication is always best, I prefer more than less myself, I promise you WILL be pleased with the product when it's on your rig!

I ordered the same day the codes came out from the OP. Mine is powder coated. And it's not like Gobi where there's a list that takes months to run down, they should all be shipped out by tomorrow.
