I like my bumper as well. Perfect welds and fit. As for Fernando and the guys at Proline goes, I will vouch for them as great guys. I live 2hrs away from them so decided to purchase the bumper and have them install it instead of paying for shipping. When I got there, Fernando greeted me and threw on off-roading videos for me to watch while I waited. He sat down and hung out with me between customers while the guys were installing my bumper. He answered any questions I had and gave me some great advice. He's been in the business for over 15 years. I manage a $10 million a year business and know customer service is key but you can't give away the keys to the store.

Their correspondence is for nil as well as any etiquette is basically nonexistent.

**Update**

Fernando reached out to me today after seeing this post. He apologized for the sliders not working out and offered a newer set that has been redesigned with a bump out.

To be honest that was the very last thing that I was expecting. I am humbled and will eat every word that I said in my previous post. Who offers a replacement set to attempt to rectify something that was ENTIRELY my problem? After all I decided that the original set would be sufficient for me, drove down there, willingly paid for them, and left.

Apparently my perspective was off, as I have yet to see someone else offer up something like this. If I hadn't already decided on another set, I would have gladly corroborated with Proline on a new set. For bashing them on a situation that was entirely my fault, I am truly sorry.

Additionally, for the weight of the front bumpers, I was also wrong in claiming that they were "heavy". Their website claims ~220-230lbs. From speaking with some Proline bumper owners they claim that theirs weigh roughly half that, which is right in the ballpark for other full replacement plate steel front bumpers.

Here is a better picture of my bumper. Its kinda funny, I like the aggressive look of this one and can't STAND the Pelfry bumper, just horrible to me but as others have said, different strokes.

I had them redesign the wing panels for mine and I also sourced black anodized aluminum bolts for the wings and winch cover, the shiny ones are too in your face to me.

Overall I really like the pro-line bumper. They made a few mistakes on my order but things were resolved pretty quick and it came in very fast. Quality and fit are nice.

First, it is really stand-up of you to post this. Second, thanks for notifying for the corrections. There are definitely some businesses down here that are "questionable" to say the least. Nice to know there are local places down here run by people like Fernando [MENTION=160707]Proline4x4bumpers[/MENTION] and Mike @Dobinsons_Mike that are supporting our community.

I recently got the R1 bumper, Fernando was helpful, answered all questions and kept in touch. Maybe I got lucky and got my bumper in exactly 3 weeks. Still working on fitment for now but top notch company in my experience. I couldn't afford the hoop, also customized the plates, a member in this thread also helped me out with adjustment.

As a customer I have a right to shop around and look for deals. I asked if there was any incentive for a new customer to shop with Proline vs ARB, regardless of the price difference. At ARB I was able to secure such incentive. If you don't like shopping around and negotiating then you've never haggled before. I bet you paid sticker price for your 4Runner too, smh...

Nope, it wasn't that I didn't get a discount, it was the misunderstanding when in the first reply I got he quoted a price almost the same or as high as ARB and that's how this thing got started. You must lack reading comprehension buttercup

Correction. A stylish buttercup with impeccable taste in front bumpers.

Back on subject, I bought the bumper because it requires zero cutting and fitment was excellent. If I had one complaint, I wish the hardware was low profile, but I'll change that down the road.

Make sure you find aluminum anodized ones. The coated steel ones I got didnt last a week before they rusted.
