Check out other sites that cover even other Toyota models and then compare to the 4runner repair and warranty section. These 4runners have very very few problems. I think part of the reason is that they are built in the top automotive manufacturing plant in the world and also engineered by the best automotive company in the world. Boils down to engineering and then execution. I also notice that Toyota models that are built in the USA and other countries have more problems then 4runners. I guess that boils down to not as good execution on the build side. If you want to feel smart about buying a 4runner go to a Ford, GM, or Dodge site and look at their warranty and repair sections WOW, they are huge and the problem continues with the same items year after year, to the point that members when they buy new vehicles have to modify them so they don't have a breakdown. God were smart
