Problem with Removing Alternator

Getting battery light at the dash, and the battery is only a few months old so I tested and was only getting 12v from the alternator.

Trying to get the alternator off has been a challenge, the lower bolt does not want to budge at all, starting to wonder if there's a nut behind that lower bolt. Anyone else have any issues breaking that lower bolt loose? The upper one comes out just fine, and I've tried removing the lower one with the upper one re-installed with no dice. Is there a nut hidden on the back of that lower bolt?

Thanks.

I haven't had the 4runner's off before but most just have bolts, no nuts. Blast it with some penetrating oil, put a 6 point socket on it with a 3/8 ratchet and put a nice pipe on the end. It will come off then.

I severely doubt it would have a nut on the end, it should just be a plate. Do the penetrating lube, let it soak, and get some kind of extension to get more leverage

If it is the v6 i did it about 2 weeks ago and that bolt was tough there is no nut on it. But i used a breaker bar to get it loose then went back to the ratchet and be careful not to strip is use some pb blaster or wd-40 mine started to strip so i threw some wd40 on it
