problems taking off the factory roof rack

Is there any special trick to taking off the factory rook rack? every time i try and pry the covers I'm afraid of them cracking..:frusty: I know those are very flimsy pieces. I would like to try and save them so I can put it up for sale.. any help, tricks, techniques, or advice would be awesome!! :ear:

Dont be scared... get a small flat head and start prying around the lower edges and slowly work your self around

I had luck pushing very hard on one side of the cover until the opposite side came unclipped on its own.

I have the same set and don't know how I ever worked in all my clip-on plastic panels and parts in the past without them!!

Good luck...I busted both front side plastic covers. They are brittle.

Just went to Harbor Freight and bought a set! Thanks for the advice.. Hopefully ill have better luck with these..
