Problems with doors locking

I have a 2016 Trail Premium that is having gremlins in my locking system. Does anyone have any ideas?

I had an actuator go out that wouldn't let me lock the doors. Pretty common problem.

So just got back from the dealer, they had a technician troubleshoot it for a couple hours and were unable to find the cause. They need to bring my truck in for a few days where a technician will be assigned to it, they believe they will need to get on the phone with the engineers to discuss this.

Now, I just bought this last weekend and are already having problems and I noticed a brand new 4runner on their lot for only a few thousand more, wonder if I can convince them to give it to me in a swap if they can't figure out the issue!

I figured it out! But now the question is why...

I have a set of high-end walkie-talkies plugged into the in the center console, the moment I unplug them the locks work as expected just fine. When I plug them back in, I have that issue! The 12v outlet isn't supplied power when the car is powered off, but the moment I start the car it has power supplied.

So why is it having something plugged into the 12V outlet in the center console would cause that issue, does anyone know?

My actuator went out last week and was a week after my warranty. 2015 SR5 premium with 42,000 miles. After research these actuators are failing way to early in these expensive vehicles. They are expensive to replace. I expect this from a cheap vehicle but not a $45,000 one

2007 4Runner door locks

So I have a question, I own 2007 4Runner SR5. None of doors lock or unlock with key fob or switches on ether driver or passenger doors. When I use a key fob or switches on ether door I hear relay click but nothing is happening. I followed one of the videos where person checked power flow to the actuator and I did the same but I used voltmeter and it looks like when I used key fob and door switch power was going to actuator. If I get power to actuator does that mean that relay is working and that I probably should replace ether actuator or motor in all 4 doors or there could be something else wrong?

Door locking is a most common problem you should go the service station and if its minor issue they will fix it

Are these Ham Radios? Do you have an AC Charger for the radios? Try AC charging inside the vehicle. The DC charging unit could be giving off transient noise. Have you considered a dedicated, stand alone DC charging outlet with DC Noise isolater?
