Problems with Gobi and TrailWerks?

Has anyone had problems with purchasing items from TrailWerks or Gobi?

Ok so i have been drooling over the Gobi ladder that MillerPKA had so i finally decided that i would take the plunge and get one. So i found that TrailWerks is somewhat popular with Toyota forums so i thought id give them a shot and purchased the Gobi ladder through them and saved some money so figured it would be a win win... I ordered and paid on July 20th and after three weeks i got in contact with Curtis of TrailWerks and he told me that i needed to talk to Gobi since the product would be shipped directly from their warehouse. I called Gobi and got a hold of the president and she told me that she would give me a call back the next day to let me know the status of my order, after two days passed i didn't get a single fone call from Gobi. So i emailed and called both companies and they have not sent any replies or returned any fone calls. This is disappointing because of all the great feed back i have heard about these companies...

lol ya i know im just not a fan of the bajaracks and ladders... I really want a GObi ladder but that would make more sense for this time frame bc how long does it take to make the ladder and ship it out? i think its just ridiculous...

This is normal man they will get to you. They are running several other companies as well out of there so between b2b and b2c responsibilities they just get swamped. Give her a call on Tuesday and see whats up

I agree, Baja's rack looks nice but the ladder doesn't fit at all. You made a good choice just bear with the lead time

ya dude... ideally i want the Gobi stealth roof rack but cant afford the price tag they have on it so thats y my rola might get extended.

Wow i had no idea they were running several companies but ya ive just been waiting to get it but im just disappointed bc i thought that at least if Gobi didnt get in contact with me that TrailWerks would try to keep me updated since i did already pay them...

Funny, if you do a google search for Trailwerks the second post is a link to their guarantee of 100% customer satisfaction...

I don't think plastic should be charged until the product ships. At least not with a large established company.

lol ya i got the Gobi from TrailWerks on Ebay and it took them a LONG time to get me my items...

Now the company im seeming to have problems with is DatinFab.com, the guy whosends out the emails seems a little douche to me and responds to me like im wasting his time and im bugging him though its been over a month now and they havent sent out my rock sliders only to find out that they are out of stock and trailgear told them they are going to stop making them.
