Problems with lift. OME + spacers.

Hey guys, relatively new here and been searching around for a while and I think its finally time to post....

Some time ago I installed an OME Heavy Duty kit on my V8, along with new adjustables UCA's. The truck drove very nice, but I still wanted some more lift. My truck weighs an additional 700lbs because of the armor. Later down the road, I installed a Viper "rally" front bumper Bienvenidos a VIPER 4WD, and that brought the front down about 1".

So I went ahead and bought 1" top out spacers and had them installed. At first impression, the truck rode the same... with an additional 2" of lift in the front and 1" of lift in the back... but very soon I realized that I was getting some heavy vibration from the front when I really press on the pedal... I went ahead and installed a diff drop. I had purchased some time ago but it basically did not do anything to solve the problem..... so now im left scratching my head in what to do to keep this ride height but fix my vibration problems....

any ideas or suggestions ??? Anyone with a similar setup want to chime in?

:)

Only thing I can think of is if the top out spacer is aluminum that it could be causing vibrations from metal on metal contact. Maybe switch to a Daystar spacer or something made out of polyurethane...

spacers are bad Mkay, invest more money and get a set of CO, and a lot of things can affect the truck like is everything down there tight and torqued, tires are balanced, truck is aligned?

guys... the truck is aligned, balanced...everthing checks out, nothing is "loose"....

My vibration feels "driveline" related... as it only "shakes" when I hit the pedal to the metal, if I drive round normally I get no vibration at any speed (got her to 100mph this weekend).. I'll get the vibration if say, im cruising at 40mph and I give her full throttle to accelerate, thats when I get a nasty vibration from the front end ... then if I let go of the throttle everything goes back to normal...

Im having another shop take a loot at it this weekend and see what they come up with.

just to update on this thread... the total amount of lift came out to aprox. 4.5". with the OME 3" and the top out spacer. what we did is we fabbed a slightly larger diff drop, which actually did help out regardless of what many have said, and we shaved just enough off the spacer to put the truck at 3.5-4" of total lift.

it came out really nice, the truck drives nice again and looks sick! ill post pics soon.
