Problems with painting chrome bumpers >:(

i didn't see if anyone mentioned it here but if you get a nice adhesive promoter it should help it stick a lot better. I think its called bulldog or something you can get from autozone. It's expensive and has some pretty strict warnings on the can with using it LOL but ive hear it works great for this kind of stuff.

I bought some cheap stuff when i painted my emblems and so far its been about 4 to 5 months, tons of driving and its still looks good as new

My buddie told me to precoat with por15 first and paint over that. But the POR15 is expensive as hell...

yeah honesly the more you pay the better it will probably work however, for a bumper you may have to buy more which would suck. I didn't want the expensive stuff cause i was just doing my emblems but yeah, I would hate having to re-do somehting like that over again.

Oh and the bulldog stuff is at pepboys not autozone in case your interested. i think it was around $40 to $50 a can, I cant remember exactly though... everything is expensive being a student LOL
