I just put a deposit on new construction across the freeway right against the mountain. Im hoping I get used to the heat, it was 109 when we went a couple of weeks ago!!! Views of the mountain and strip from the house. I was told the unbearable months are June-July-August, it be nice to be able to sit in the back yard with a cigar watching the strip at night.

Congrats! You will eventually get used to the heat.... it took me 6 years. Lol. Vegas is all about who you know so definitely make friends with people who work at the casino pool/day clubs and I guarantee those 115 degree summer days will go by extremely fast.

Not at all, Love me some Pattycakes! I loved the YOTA but got tired of not having V8 power for my long trips (Just like with the Jeep). I sold the 4Runner 7 months ago and bought a 2016 Sierra Denali with the 6.2 (7" Lift with 37's) and I HATE this Fucn thing!!! 65K truck that I blew the tranny in at 832 miles. So many electronics that some sensor is always going off. It looks great and has a ton of power, but as soon as the new Runner comes out, this shit box is gone!

I honestly didn't realize how nice the 4runner was and what a great all around rig it is until I sold it. In hindsight, I should have put a blower on the runner and been done, big mistake on my part!!!! Cant wait to get into the next generation of the runner (Will be going straight to Demello). Until then, I will be lurking int background with my tiny pecker and Fat wife, wishing I was still part of the crew!:cheer2:

Well if it's any consolation...my chevy had 275 k on the original motor and ran like the day I bought it....but I went through 3 trannys before 60k...goodluck with the new set of wheels...come back again soon!

Thanks Pat. Chevy hasn't had good luck with these new 8 Speeds, lot of guys been blowing them. There's just too much technology on them these days, too many things to go wrong.

The FIRST THING the wife said to me after I lost my mind and told her what happened was, "I bet the Toyota would have done that"! ***** had to rub it in! Cant wait to see what the new runner brings. Until then, I'll have to Troll!

It's going to be a sick build out....especially the lighting...you know what a "light whore' I am....if a little's good...a lot ought to be even better.

I'm really contempling a SS winch setup too...I had hoped ARB was going to get more creative with a newer design...but they really didn't.

That Trophy looks like the one I got in special Ed? Ill get a new pic for you, I have a shit load of L.E.D.'s on the front of it now. Just got back from a CO trip, they came in very handy driving through Utah at night in heavy snow. My dealer in CO seems to think the new runner will come out in 2018 instead of 2019, I'm hoping!
