Now that the pleasantries are over. I really brought my Tom foolery over from the Jeep world and went with 20x12’s on this build. I went way outside the box what sane people choose, I know. To preface, if I wanted a hard core Rock crawler and off roader, I would have never have sold my Rubicon’s on 40’s/38’s. From the departure angles alone, the Yota is not a rock crawler. For me, the 4runner duties are carting 340lbs worth of dogs around daily, over landing (Go out to Area 51 and the desert) and a lot of snow driving. Since I do a lot of snow, I was going to go with Duratracs, but I have run either 38’s or 40’s Nitto Mud Grapplers on all my jeeps, and love the grapplers (They do great in the snow for a Mud Tire), so I went with them. Over all I am very pleased with how it came out.

I'm glad someone appreciates true talent around this dump...

It's going to be a sick build out....especially the lighting...you know what a "light whore' I am....if a little's good...a lot ought to be even better.

I'm really contempling a SS winch setup too...I had hoped ARB was going to get more creative with a newer design...but they really didn't.

Sub'd....would love too know your thoughts after 6 months coming from the Jeep world to this....good luck:first:

Its LEAGUES better on the street vs the Jeep, Im really impressed with the ride, even with the short sidewall. Im taking it out at the end of this month so we'll see about the articulation and rubbing with the wheel/tire choice, so far, so good.

Im an LED freak myself (Already have the 30" Radiance bar ready to go), so Im getting real anxious to get the Gobi Rack and SS bumper. I've seen some really nice lighting set ups with that bumper. Stage 2 coming up!

I love the fact [MENTION=112213]Vettethret[/MENTION] has been around forums enough to develop a sense of humor. Some comments on this thread would completely put a newb in hiding and never come back again. But vettethret rolls with the punches... you'll be just fine here.
