Well they already shipped the kits it looks like, but I ordered a set of 9006's for fogs too, I'll use the harnesses for those and get new ones for the fogs.

Alright, did this mod this weekend. All in all, I think they look SWEET, and the HID kit is pretty nice, although I'm not entirely sure I'd do this mod again if I did it all over. The gap doesn't look bad and is barely noticeable, so for me that is a non issue. I think part of the loss of my enjoyment of this mod is my worry that I'm going to be blinding people. I actually had my lights aimed super low and almost didn't see an exit on a not very well lit freeway this past weekend. Another thing that bugs me is the uneven cut off. the light doesn't look uniform, although I think thats an issue with the squirrel finder which is fixable, but I'm afraid of losing illumination of street signs.
As far as the blinker, and parking light, the harness that is mentioned is not compatible with the 04 model. And, let me say, my knowledge of vehicles has improved ASTRONOMICALLY since joining this forum, and I've done some REALLY cool stuff to my truck I've never dreamed I'd be able to do. But I still have a lot to learn...which brings me to the above problem. I was driving home today, and it just kind of hit me. There are 3 wires for 2 different lights. 2 have to be power, and the one they both share has got to be the ground. Therefore, if I want them to work, I should splice the greenwire to the parking light power wire, the red wire to the turn signal power wire, and the white black (single) wire to the ground wire on the parking light (proximity).
What do you think guys? Is it really that simple?
Hey man, I know this is a really old thread, but do you have any pics of how you did the wiring? I am confused. I have the headlights, I have the wiring harnesses, and I have no clue how to connect them to my current 03 4Runner headlight wiring. Thanks.
Are you asking for the headlight harness or the other lights?? The headlight you can just get an adapter for the harness I swapped my HIDs to LEDs and just ordered an extra 9006-h11 harness I was gonna create my own but Toyota was selling the wiring for around $5 each and you need four wires and to harnesses so it was coming out to over $60 got the harness same place I got my LEDs for $10 extra

I just upgraded to aftermarket HID headlights from Xtralights online and skipped all the hassle, check them out if you are still interested.

No, I am asking about the harness for the marker lights and the DRLs. I have the headlights figured out with the 9006-h11 harness.
I picked up the wiring harness that is supposed to be for the marker lights and drls. I have an 03 4runner that didn't come with DRLs. I tried to do a test fit with the new lamp housing and wiring harness, but the harness didn't seem to fit anywhere in my current wiring.
