I've done it, and am very happy with it. I did the HID upgrade right away, but understand that its h11 for the 06 projectors and 9006 for the 04 reflectors. So, I got my kit from xenondepot, and they sent me the 9006 electrical connector, so I just swapped them on the HID harness. Also, as a backup, I bought the appropriate male/female H11/9006 connectors off ebay and just spliced them together using butt connectors and shrink wrap as a conversion harness incase one day my HID kit goes out, I can just run to autozone and get halogen bulbs, until I can order new bulbs.
