Projector headlights in 96-98. Non available?

I was looking to do a projector headlight swap into my 96 sr5, you can find them for every year but 96-02? not even ebay has any..were there even any made, i swear i saw a pic of one on a 3rd gen...maybe i just blind..my headlights are pooched from gravel roads, any other mods better than OE...i have heard of 99-02 H.L swap? what does this require..thanks ?(sorry if this was allready brought up 100 times before. How different are the tacoma trucks to 4runners? i did find these....

thats a custom job you probably seen could go with some oem 99-02 headlighs they look better and work better and they bolt right in place just like the 96-98s do
