Proper Inflation Nitto Terra Grapplers

Hey all...
Well the new TE is dynamite... but the dealership didn't know what to properly inflate my new 285/70r17 Terra Grapplers to. I have the D rated, not E rated tires. Anyone know where they should be or can point me to a chart?

I am hoping to up the mileage... they inflated to 32 PSI I believe which appears way low... same thing happened when I bought my F350 4x4... tires came with 32 lbs. from the dealer... truck called for 65!

Short answer: if they are LT tires, start at 44PSI.

Edited to add: Using the last link, the P265/70r17 @32psi support 2,425lbs. LT tires in 285/70r17 support 2315lbs @40psi and 2510lbs @45psi.

Dave - I just went through a similar process (I ended up getting the 285 P-metric Toyo's). Quick question, I thought the LT285/70R17 Terra Grapplers were only offered in E-range (3,750 lbs. capacity at 80 psi)? Either way, like Mike mentioned, if you have the P-metrics, then 32psi is perfect. If you're looking at the LTs, then 44psi is good (LTs air pressure is more dependent on load, speed, etc and you should adjust accordingly).

BTW, your TE is looking awesome. We need more pics!
