Found some rust bubbles on the rocker panels near the rear doors, yes it goes all the way through. Does not go the entire length of the rocker, just about 6 inches. This is horrible because the rest of my 4runner looks fantastic. I want to attack this immediately and I want to do it right. I'm taking it to a body shop in the next few days to get it looked at. What should I make sure is done? New sheet metal vs filler I'm assuming... I want to also Line-X the rocker and about 1" up the doors, inside and out, to avoid this happening ever again.
Any suggestions for what I should ask the body shop to do? I want to make sure this is done perfectly so as not to be a problem for the next owner.
