Proud of My Toyota 4Runner

hi guys, just wanna share my story, today my first time go wheeling with some american lift and big tires suv. and they just impressed that my 4runner is all stock can handle all the terrain that they choose, its pretty heavy though, i stuck once but i back up my 4runner and can go through, so no towing at all from them or help from them. just 07 limited with standard michelin crossterrain. i push to the limit on my 4runner, tight road , cross some river, etc. and this suv, is the best, just got many scratches from the trees. damn. im very proud and impressed with this japanese suv compare to american or european suv.

ouch.... isn't that hurt??? since your truck is very new, are you going to touch up the scratches or leave it? i decided not to go off road with one of my friend because i don't want to see scratch on my truck yet....

nothing feels like you made the right choice choosing a 4Runner. your 4R made you feel proud, take care of it and it will take care of you on and off road!!

size does matter when it comes to off-roading.

you may want to look into extending your rear diff breather if you continue muddy water crossing.

by the way, im not wheeling very often, i went yesterday , cause i wanna know how much the 4r can go. and i might wait until the tire wear on michellin and change it with better tires, i think i will choose dueler revo for my next tires.

I know exactly how you feel about your T4R - and I am sure so does a lot of the T4R owners. I had a blast off-roading recently with my stock 4Runner and it had no problems negotiating any of the steep climbs, ruts etc.

As for "pin-stripping", I have just posted some information I came accross recently "Protection from Pin Stripping - Flexible Magnets".

Recently I took a 4x4 Basic Training class and the instructor said that at his website there is a blog where someone has detailed the steps for protecting your rig's body/paint from pin-stripping during off-roading.
